Digital Explorers - Middle Grades Mobile App Development

The Discovery Partners Institute (DPI), with support from Apple and CME Foundation, provides an exciting, hands-on opportunity for middle school students (6th – 8th grade) in our Digital Explorers program. Digital Explorers (DE) is a mobile app development series for middle school students (6th through 8th grades) interested in tech, but with limited experience, access, or awareness. DE will utilize Swift Coding & Xcode, team-building activities, and human-centered design thinking challenges. Students will work with DPI staff, high school near peer mentors, and College mentors; and develop problem-solving and team-building skills through engaging, hands-on activities.
