Pride Week in Teen Learning Lab

At Shedd Aquarium, we have the honor of celebrating the unbelievably diverse aquatic world every day, bringing learners eye-to-eye with nature and helping them understand that this diversity is not only beautiful – it’s critical to our very survival.
In honor of Pride Month in June, Shedd Aquarium will host a special Pride Week in the Teen Learning Lab on June 25-27 from 2-7pm, celebrating the LGBTQ community.
Pride Week in Shedd Aquarium's Teen Learning Lab is an opportunity for us to celebrate that same important diversity among our learners, staff, and community. This intentional act of inclusivity honors part of the aquarium’s core values – being seamlessly and joyfully welcoming to all.
Teen Learning Lab activities during Pride Week will focus on colorful, diverse animals, including Shedd’s newest special exhibit, Underwater Beauty, that includes a rainbow wall, which features aquatic life from every color of the rainbow.
