Sports 37 - Gymnastics

In partnership with the Chicago Park District Gymnastic Unit & After School Matters, this apprenticeship program is designed to give apprentices the skills that are needed to teach recreation gymnastics classes. This physically stimulating movement education experience would encompass teaching techniques utilizing the different gymnastics apparatuses, early childhood designed obstacle courses, basic gymnastics, tumbling, building lesson plans, and how to plan special occasion parties in a gymnastics facility. This is a great program for teens currently in high school interested in early childhood education, gymnastics, and those interested in working with kids.
