Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States through rare books from CPL's Special Collections. Spanning over 250 years, the presentation will highlight books that touch on a range of everyday and extraordinary events in American life that include culture, free speech, literature, politics, public education, travel, war and the natural world. This program is co-sponsored by the Chicago Collections Consortium . Space is limited to 25 participants. We will admit on a first come, first served basis.
