Teens Who Care: August 2016

The Anti-Cruelty Society

The Anti-Cruelty Society has been providing shelter and medical care to hundreds of thousands of animals since 1899. This is only possible thanks to hard-working, dedicated individuals who share a passion for helping animals and the people that love them. Now, the torch is ready to be passed to you. Teens Who Care aims to provide a hands-on volunteer experience for high school youth ages 14-18. Participants will help our animals find homes by performing supportive tasks throughout different departments at The Anti-Cruelty Society such as cleaning, animal socialization, administrative assistance, and more. This is a short-term, seasonal program that runs for two sessions in the summer, and one session in the winter. All interested youth must submit an application and attend an in-person interview to be considered for participation. For more information, and to apply, check out our program webpage!
