Introduction to Artificial Intelligence for Seniors

This workshop is designed especially for seniors and older adults . Learn about AI! Presenters from the AI Safety Awareness Project will give a quick overview of the current state of AI capabilities, with a focus on short term risk/harm for senior citizens. The purpose of this workshop is to give a broad introduction to risks and benefits of current and near-future AI systems as well as how to stay safe online. We'll have a quick introductory talk, some demonstrations of current AI capabilities and risks, and then close with actionable steps seniors can take to protect themselves, and talk about the AI future we want to leave behind for our families.
