Seed Library

Chicago Public Library

We're offering a variety of FREE seed packets to our patrons and visitors (3 packets per household/per visit). The selection is constantly growing and changing as we continue to receive donations (thanks to our many sponsors!). We plan to offer the seed library year-round for your seasonal planting needs. We've distributed everything from seeds for teas and medicinal purposes (anise, echinacea and bergamot), to flowers (marigolds), vegetables (corn, green beans, etc.) and more. Stop by the Woodson Regional Library's adult reference desk during regular business hours and ask for a current list of available seed packets. Happy planting!
