Are you interested in reading books by international authors? Join the Latin American Authors Book Club. Each month, you will experience a variety of literature written by contemporary Latin American authors. This month's title is The Black Cathedral by Marcial Gala from Cuba. "The story of an enormous cathedral constructed in a marginal, majority-black neighborhood in Cienfuegos, Cuba, told by a chorus of narrators whose sometimes conflicting, overlapping accounts knit together to form a portrait of the neighborhood and the family of outsiders whose arrival in Cienfuegos sparks a series of dramatic events"-- How to Attend This event is available online.
