The voices of Latinx writers have always been a part of the American literary landscape. Join American Writers Museum for Melted in the Pot and celebrate the incredible writing and achievements of Latinx writers, from the first Puerto Rican librarian in New York City to the first Latino to win a Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Immerse yourself in the rich history, captivating stories, and profound contributions of Latinx writers, poets, and authors who have shaped American writing. This 15-minute tour introduces you to all areas of the Museum, and following the tour, you can explore all of the exhibits more in-depth.
How to Attend:
The American Writers Museum has free admission on the days of the tour. Meet at the Museum front desk 5 minutes before the tour starts. The tour last 15 minutes, and attendees are encouraged to stay and explore the Museum on their own after the tour.
