Sugar Skull Decorating Workshop: Honoring Día de los Muertos

Chicago Public Library

Join us for a vibrant and meaningful sugar skull decorating workshop, where we will celebrate and learn about the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Chicago Calaveras will join us in this hands-on experience, sharing insight into the cultural significance of the holiday, the process behind crafting sugar skulls and the materials to decorate their own unique skull to take home. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Come celebrate, create and connect! For children ages 10 and up and their accompanying adults.
