Digital Bridge - For Community College Students

Discovery Partners Institute and ThinkChicago present the Digital Bridge Program designed to build a deeper and more diverse pool of students in Illinois interested in pursuing technology pathways, computer science and/or engineering. The Digital Bridge Program introduces students to members of Chicago's dynamic tech community and provides opportunities to participate in interactive talks with local entrepreneurs. Digital Bridge began through a partnership with City Colleges of Chicago - Wilbur Wright College and ThinkChicago to support community college students. During the program, students will also work on a Capstone project focused on addressing an important issue in your local community.

Digital Bridge will be offered during Summer 2025 on Fridays on June 21, June 28, July 12, July 19 and July 26 from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm for incoming or current community college students or anyone interested in the Computer Science transfer pathway. Sessions will be held at Discovery Partners Institute (200 S. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60606) and various tech companies throughout Chicago.

To be eligible for Digital Bridge:

• must reside in Illinois
• must be enrolled in a community college or an incoming 1st year student at a community college
