Black & Bronze is an ode to the rich legacy and grounding contributions to African American history on Chicago?s South Side. It is a symphonic reminder of our resilience and a celebration of the sounds, stories, and spirit that continue to shape the world. This festival will feature poetry and music by pioneers from Bronzeville, including Louis Armstrong, Quincy Jones, and Mahalia Jackson as well as original music and spoken word by local artists including Jessica Lá Rel, Ryan Alexander, Shaundric, Tom Collins, Faith Overallat, Apollo, STWU, CityPoint Worship Collective, Monica Anissa, and Micah Collier. https://jessicalarel.com/
