Beginning in 2023, the My CHI. My Future. the Year-Round Safe Spaces for Youth Initiative provides programming for youth ages 13-19 and their and families and youth employment opportunities for young Chicagoans ages 16-24 in 15 regions across the City. Department: #DepartmentOfFamilyandSupportServicesYC. Tier: #PreventionYCYC. Type of Service: #EventsYC, #JobYC. Season: Year-Round. Criteria to Enter: Youth must be 16 years old by the start of the program. Youth must provide proof of Chicago residency and proof of a valid Social Security Card. Youth must have a signed release form. Parental/guardian signature is required for youth under the age of 18.. Targeted neighborhood: 15 community strategy regions (Auburn Gresham, Austin, Back of the Yards, Belmont-Cragin, Brighton Park, Chicago Lawn, Gage Park, Garfield Park, Greater Englewood Area, Greater Grand Crossing, Greater Roseland Area, Humboldt Park, Little Village, North Lawndale, South Shore). Length: Year-Round
