Minds Matter connects driven and determined students from low-income families with the people, preparation, and possibilities to succeed in college, create their future, and change the world. Students are eligible to enroll in our program during their sophomore year of high school and participate through graduation. Over the course of three years, students receive intensive mentorship from dedicated volunteers and engage in rigorous academic enrichment opportunities designed to strengthen their college readiness. Through weekly mentoring sessions, summer programs at leading colleges, and personalized support in test preparation, writing, and financial aid, Minds Matter equips students with the knowledge, confidence, and networks to achieve their college goals and thrive beyond high school. Minds Matter is a national organization with chapters in 14 cities throughout the country.
