BUILD inspires hope and offers opportunities so youth facing systemic obstacles can achieve positive futures. BUILD works to save lives in Chicago's most challenged neighborhoods by ensuring young people receive the combination of support, protection, and inspiration they need for a path to a promising future. Prevention- Out-of-school programs including educational enrichment to develop strength and skills to resist threats and risky behavior. Intervention- Street violence interruption, mediation, and mentoring. Education (BUILDing Futures)- Academic support, college attainment, and persistence coaching. Enrichment- Art, athletics, podcasting, music, entrepreneurship, and youth employment. Clinical and Community Wellness- Mental health care, crisis response, support groups, and community outreach.
