The Pet Care Pro badge shows that this learner has completed the Caring for Pets session of The Anti-Cruelty Society's After School Advocates program. In this course, learners explored laws that protect our pets, as well as how to care for the three most popular pets in the USA: cats, dogs, and rabbits. Through lectures by guest speakers and hands-on activities, participants discovered different careers and organizations that help animals in need. This learner collaborated with peers as a "Pet Care Sponsor" to help support adoptable shelter animals at The Anti-Cruelty Society in their search for a forever home.
