Fall 2019 After School Advocates: Caring for Pets
In
this unique program, learners will complete volunteer projects to help
animals at our shelter facility while discovering how
to care for the three most popular pets in the United States: cats,
dogs, and rabbits. Through workshops from professionals in animal
welfare, youth will explore how behavior has shaped companion animal
domestication, and our responsibility as caregivers.
