In partnership with After School Matters and the Chicago Park District Gymnastic Unit, this program is designed to give students the skills that are needed to teach recreation gymnastics classes for preschool to Level 4. This physically stimulating movement education experience would encompass teaching techniques utilizing the different gymnastics apparatuses, early childhood knowledge and skills, basic gymnastics, tumbling, building lesson plans, and how to plan special occasion parties in gymnastics facility. At the completion of the program students will be a certified USA Gymnastics Instructor and certified in USA Gymnastics W200 course - Hands on Training for Level 1 - 4.
