The ASMU GRAD Badge represents achievement in the ability to engage purposefully with six 21st century skill building areas addressed at After School Matters University (ASMU). ASMU GRADS Participated in 20 activities throughout ASMU related to post secondary readiness. These activities included panels, keynote addresses, workshops, skill building activities, and a field trip to a campus selected by area of interest. "ASMU GRADS" have learned to identify and reflect on a specific 21st Century skill within an activity. The skills identified, engaged with, and reflected on include planning for success, personal mindset, problem solving, collaboration, verbal communication, and social awareness. ASMU GRADS engaged with these 6 critical skills while learning valuable information about College, Career, and Life skills!

Criteria

1. [required] MUST complete, with full attendance, all four days of the ASMU Program. Must adhere to behaviors and expectations outlined in the commitment contract, and participant manual.
2. [required] Must complete meaningful reflections in the reflection journal for EACH activity at ASMU. These will be reviewed by your instructor, who will provide you with feedback.
