IIT Boeing Scholars Skill - Team Leader

The Skill-Team Leader badge recognizes students who make exceptional contributions as leaders to their team of peers during the development of a "Serving through STEM (StS) Project." As part of our summer session every Scholar participates in one "Serving through STEM Project," which is a 24-hour project that involves the students contribution to a project in the real-world and requires them to develop their abilities to manage partially open-ended projects as part of a diverse team of peers with minimal supervision or direction, recognize opportunities for new developments and novel ideas, learn to interact with and seek input from professionals, give and make productive use of constructive criticism, and present their own original work with increased comfort and confidence.
