Freshman and Sophomore Connection
Chicago Public Schools (CPS)
Freshman Connection and Sophomore Connection take some of the unknowns out of back-to-school. These fun and free programs offer incoming ninth and rising tenth graders the opportunity to get acquainted or reacquainted with their high schools.
Between July 6- August 13, 2021, students will:
- Meet school staff.
- Learn graduation requirements and expectations.
- Brush up on their study skills.
- Learn techniques for coping with stress.
- Get to know their new classmates through field trips and other activities.
