Collegiate Scholars Program
University of Chicago (UChicago)
The Collegiate Scholars Program (CSP) was founded in 2003 as a three-year program that aims to prepare talented CPS students in grades 10-12 for admission and success at the nationÕs top colleges and universities. During the summer months, Collegiate Scholars take courses in humanities, social sciences, and mathematics taught by University of Chicago faculty on the University of Chicago campus. Throughout the academic year, Scholars engage in a series of enrichment activities focused on leadership development, civic engagement, college advising, and cultural exploration. When Offered in 2021: The CSP admissions and recruitment process for the Class of 2024 is postponed until the 2021-2022 academic year and, although this update may be disappointing to current 9th grade students, we hope they will consider applying to CSP next year. In Fall 2021 and Winter 2022, the Collegiate Scholars Program will resume the recruitment process for both 9th and 10th grade students with the objective of admitting two cohorts of Collegiate Scholars by spring 2022.
