College Connect Summer Enrichment Program

College Connect is a FREE annual summer enrichment program for Chicago high school students (from CPS, Charter, and Catholic schools). Designed for high school juniors (rising seniors in the summer), the program introduces students to college-level coursework in diverse fields of study, while also providing college readiness and financial literacy workshops, academic major and career exploration opportunities, and diverse cultural experiences. Students from some 50 high schools from all over the city (and a few suburbs) participate in the program every summer.
Summer 2021
College Connect 2021 will run from June 28 through July 30, and we will once again host the program online due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. Application is OPEN NOW and will close on April 15. Students interested in participating in the program need to complete the online application, submit a personal statement, upload their high school transcript (PDF is fine), and a letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor.
We are offering 6 exciting courses for summer 2021. Each student will choose one class and get enrolled in it once admitted to the program. When applying, each student should provide their top 3 course preferences in the application form (and mention their interest in their essay).
