R CITY: Operation Second Home
R City (River City Community Development Center)
As CPS conducts instruction remotely, RCITY has launched Operation Second Home to assist families by providing a “Second Home” for a portion of student instruction time.
Wednesdays are reserved for staff training and and deep cleaning of classroom space.
We’ll be supporting neighborhood families that aren’t coming into R CITY through remote wellness checks from our college volunteers.
We are NOT currently offering any after school programming for elementary students.
*Given the unpredictability of the virus, dates and times are subject to change to respond to current health guidelines.
Please note: There will be limited space to comply with COVID Safety recommendations. We will prioritize students with previous R CITY participation. If a program is at capacity, we will keep names on a waiting list for a time when spots are available.
