CAC: Teen Fellows
Chicago Architecture Center
The Chicago Architecture Center’s Teen Fellows program is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for high school students to learn about architecture, construction, engineering and design.
This scholarship program gives incoming sophomores and juniors enrolled in a Chicago high school the chance to explore the design fields, earn college credit, and work alongside architecture and design professionals. They work on multiple design projects, showcases and public exhibitions, and visit places of architectural significance. Fellows will have the opportunity to complete their fellowship with a paid summer internship at a local architecture or design firm and create a portfolio to be used for college applications.
Each semester, students earn a stipend and college credits through City Colleges of Chicago. The Fellows meet on Saturdays during the school year and weekdays throughout the summer.
