Design-It Play-It H2O Games
The Field Museum
Learn game design and explore freshwater ecosystems this fall! The Field Museum invites high school students to apply to Design-It Play-It: H2O Games, a 10 week advanced After School Matters apprenticeship program. In this program, youth will meet Field Museum scientists, go behind-the-scenes of the Museum and see spaces closed to the public, and go on a field trip to the Shedd Aquarium and Jardine Water Purification Plant. Youth will meet a professional game designer and work in teams work to create scientifically accurate board games about water ecosystems. Through this program, high school teens will work in design teams and use graphic design and 3D printing technology to develop their game. Get your game on and apply today! Applications are open on July 25th: http://www.afterschoolmatters.org/teens/apply/
