Advanced Video Production (Downtown Program)

After School Matters

From operating video cameras to script writing to editing, teens learn all the essentials on how to make their own short movies. The program begins with technical workshops on how to make their films look professional and slick. Apprentices then participate in brainstorming sessions where they pitch their own ideas for short films. Once in production, teens write scripts, act, shoot, direct, and then edit their ideas into finished films.
