Creative Action: North Lawndale
After School Matters
Teens in Creative Action evolve and connect with their creativity by exploring various mediums of art including illustration/drawing, ceramic sculpture, portrait painting, digital art and street art stenciling. The program also promotes urban beautification, introduces teens to contemporary youth issues, and teaches lessons in conflict resolution. Youth are prepared to create an exhibition-worthy body of work for their personal portfolio to present to universities and employers and to employ an array of skills to do large-scale projects.
