NVAM Out Loud

Build creative connections to the National Veterans Art Museum (NVAM)! NVAM aims to inspire a greater understanding of the real impact of war with a focus on Vietnam. The museum collects, preserves and exhibits art inspired by combat and created by veterans. NVAM Education engages youth, ages 13-21, in multimedia and visual art projects that are showcased on NVAMoutloud.org. NVAM Out Loud is an interactive, youth-generated website featuring artwork and resources for youth and educators. NVAM Out Loud facilitates discussions around current exhibitions while building intergenerational connections between the voices of veterans, youth and the community.
