Field Explorer Camps: Ancient Origins

How can science and creativity help us explore the world of ancient creatures? In this camp, kids will investigate how fossils form, what they reveal about long-extinct animals, and how scientists–and storytellers–fill in the blanks. From fossil digs to creature sketching, campers will use evidence and imagination to explore what it might be like to discover a long-lost creature and bring it to life in a whole new way. Campers will visit the Pokémon Fossil Museum exhibition to see how real fossils and creative designs come together to tell stories of the past. #ChicagoMuseums #mcmfsummertime
