Off The Clock Teen Summer Hangout Series

Off the Clock is a free teen summer hangout series designed to give young people ages 14–19 a safe, welcoming, and pressure-free space to enjoy their summer. Hosted at South Side Help Center, Off the Clock runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00–7:00PM, June 23 through August 13.
Every week looks a little different and that's the point. Teens can expect gaming tournaments, karaoke battles, movie nights, sports and recreation, arts and crafts, music and chill sessions, and plenty of food and good vibes. There are no boring lectures, no pressure to perform, and no cost to participate. Just a real place to kick back, make friends, and have a good summer.
Off the Clock was created with one simple belief: teens deserve somewhere to belong. On Chicago's Far South Side, safe and engaging spaces for young people aren't always easy to find. Off the Clock fills that gap by giving teens a consistent spot to show up to, connect with peers, and just be themselves.
Membership is completely free. Spaces are limited, so early sign-up is encouraged.
