Design and Build with LEGO: Planters

Design and build in Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic Prairie style masterpiece, the Frederick C. Robie House, every third Saturday of the month (except May). This monthly family program includes a brief tour and directed workshop that explores the Robie House up close. In June, see how nature and architecture combine in the freshly planted built-in planters that Wright designed for the home. Then head into the Robie House LEGO Studio for a building workshop where you will learn how to incorporate vegetation into your own LEGO model. Families are invited to stay for a free building hour, Open Design Studio with LEGO, beginning at 11 am. During the Open Design Studio, you can incorporate your designs into a larger model to take home for FREE, up to a $25 value.
