Tech Scholars Program at Stripe

We’re thrilled to announce the Tech Scholars Program, an in-person and cohort-based program brought to you by Code Your Dreams (CYD) and Stripe starting October 1st 2025.

This unique program invites high school students to Stripe’s headquarters in Chicago (350 N Orleans) once a week at 4:30PM to learn directly from Stripe technologists.

Over the course of the program, you’ll dive into topics like modern web development, explore real-world technology applications, and gain skills that will set you apart in college and career pathways. At the end of the program, students will receive a special certificate to recognize their achievement and participate in a showcase celebration.

We welcome high school students from all backgrounds and skill levels in Chicago. If you’re curious about technology, eager to learn, and ready to commit to weekly sessions, this program is for you. Be prepared to engage in this program! We're looking for students who are excited to grow in this cohort.

To participate, you must commit to attending all weekly sessions for your term. Students accepted into the Fall program may choose to:

- Participate in Fall only, or
- Continue into Spring for an extended experience.

You’ll get to:

- Learn from professional Stripe engineers and technologists
- Gain hands-on coding experience
- Build portfolio-worthy projects
- Receive a completion certificate for your resume or college applications
- Become part of the CYD tech community with opportunities for future programs and mentorship

Program Details

Fall 2025: Wednesdays, October 1 – December 17, 2025

- Spring 2026: Wednesdays, January 7 – April 8, 2026

- Time: 4:30PM - 6:30PM

- Location: Stripe Headquarters, Chicago, IL
- Frequency: Once a week on CPS in-school days

Eligibility

- Must be in high school in Fall 2025

- Must be able to travel to the Stripe HQ during each program session

- Ready to learn and engage in a cohort!
