Indigenous People's Day Poetry Writing Workshop
Chicago Public Library
Chicago poet Eduardo Arocho hosts a poetry program highlighting Puerto Rican verse and inviting participants to reflect on their own identity and lived experience through writing. Eduardo will be joined by poets Luis Tubens, Mayda Del Valle and Yolanda Nieves to lead the workshop, which will be help in English, Spanglish and Spanish, and also incorporate Native languages. Workshop participants will be invited to ready their works for the Poetry Reading and Open Mic event at the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture on Saturday, October 11.
Space is limited - registration is required.
