On The Money Journalism Internship

OTM Fall Internship (September - December 2025 - part-time)

Love to write? On the Money Magazine (OTM) is a by-teens for-teens publication. Each semester, high school interns from across the city of Chicago come together to research and publish articles relating to finance and entrepreneurship. We are looking for teens interested in writing an article for our next edition of On the Money Magazine. This internship will take place in association with DePaul University's Writing Center. In addition to writing an article for the magazine, you will gain skills in building a resume, financial literacy, public speaking, writing, and interviewing skills.

Virtual interviews will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, beginning with an information session at 4:30pm. The internship will run through the end of December 2025. Students are encouraged to submit their resume and writing samples prior to their interview. (They can be attached to the application at the end.) Meetings are held both in-person and virtually (rotating) 5-7pm Tuesdays.
