Ripples for Peace
South Asia Institute Chicago
"Ripples of Peace" is a community event hosted by Artist Indira Johnson (view her signature Buddha head sculptures across Chicago here). Participants of all ages will engage in a discussion about peace and healing, and join in the creation of a new public art in Chicago. Each participant will be given a flag that they can write or draw their wishes on, and they will later be strung around the Buddha heads located on Lake Shore Drive and Diver.
