Volunteer Opportunity with Chicago Emerging Stars

Join Chicago Emerging Stars — a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering and uplifting youth on the South Side of Chicago — as a volunteer for our Third Annual Back-to-School Bash! This high-energy community event serves thousands of local families by providing free backpacks, school supplies, food, games, and resources to help young people start the school year strong.

We're looking for passionate, dependable volunteers (ages 14+) to help with event setup, supply distribution, youth stations, guest support, and spreading joy throughout the day. Volunteers will receive free food, community service hours (if needed), and an unforgettable experience making a real impact in the lives of Chicago youth.

Location: Cole (Nat King) Park – 361 E. 85th St, Chicago, IL 60619
Time Commitment: 6–8 hours (one-day event)
