Astronomy Library Event

University of Chicago (UChicago)

Our speaker is Matthew R. Young, an Astrophysicist from Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, IL. Matthew received his Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Toronto and has spent several years working in Antarctica to support research with the South Pole Telescope.

Observing the sky at millimeter wavelengths offers a powerful window into the history of our Universe. In this lecture, we’ll explore how these observations help uncover clues about the Universe’s first moments and provide insights into its ultimate fate. A Q&A with the audience will follow the talk.
