Feeling left in the dark when it comes to bats? You're not alone. Bats are one of the most beneficial and misunderstood of all animals. Learn about where bats live, what they eat and the vital contribution they make to the ecosystem. We dispel old beliefs and superstitions and explain why we need bats and why they need us. Meet some of our fruits bats to experience their gentle nature up close and in person. For ages 3 and up. How to Attend Register by 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian's email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL. Due to space limitations, please include only the total number of children as attendees when you register.
