The Budlong Writers Read: Bringing the Light
Chicago Public Library
Join the Budlong Woods Writers as they celebrate and read from their new anthology of poetry and prose, Bringing the Light.
I am a writer and have worked with writers for most of my adulthood. One characteristic I've noticed is a fearless, almost defiant optimism. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there for the world to see constantly, and the writers whose work is contained within these soul-bearing pages are certainly no exception. Lately, a certain level of perseverance, optimism, and bravery is almost a requirement to make it through the day. These stories of starting over, persevering, and appreciating what you have will likely resonate. --Dean Ramos. Budlong Woods Librarian Accessibility
