El Barzon at Senka

This summer, Free Street Theater presents ?El Barzon,? conceived by artist-in-residence, Rocio ?Chio? Cabrera, co-directed with Jasmin Cardenas and co-created in collaboration with WorkersTEATRO. Based on a folk song, "El Barzon" will use puppetry and music to tell the stories of farmers and laborers who stood up for their rights, weaving in current movements alongside stories of the Mexican Revolution.
