Rec Leader in Training at Berger

Rec Leader in Training is a mentorship program designed for 13-15 year olds that equips them with the tools needed to become a recreation leader for the Chicago Park District. Under direct supervision of a designated mentor, youth will learn and practice techniques that will focus on building leadership, initiative, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.Please reach out directly to the park about enrolling. Participants must apply, interview and if accepted, complete a mentoring curriculum over the course of the program. Final program schedule is determined between park staff and participant.
