Adventure Camp at Northerly Island

Adventure Camp is a signature Chicago Park District specialty day camp for 8-12 year-olds that provides children with an immersive, FUN experience in the outdoors, introducing the richness and abundance of nature at Northerly Island. Led by the Northerly Island Adventure Camp staff and naturalists, this camp?s goal is to inspire a love of nature through scientific investigations, eco-recreation activities, nature-inspired art, nature play and plenty of time spent in the great outdoors. Campers learn to catch a fish, hike Northerly Island?s prairie, explore Lake Michigan, create creatures, and imagine new worlds through nature play.
