This summer, Black Girls Code is hosting an exciting, hands-on AI and coding camp in Chicago! Designed for youth ages 10-18, this immersive, week-long experience will introduce participants to the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) through creative, real-world projects. Whether your child is new to coding or already has some experience, this camp will inspire, challenge, and teach them valuable new skills.

What Participants Will Learn:

AI & Machine Learning Basics
Building AI-powered projects
Teamwork, leadership, and innovation skills

Daily Schedule:

• 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM | Arrival & Breakfast – Light breakfast, social time, and settling in
• 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM | Icebreaker Activity – Fun team-building games to foster connections
• 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Coding Session #1 – Hands-on coding lesson
• 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM | Lunch & Social Time – Lunch provided
• 12:45 PM - 2:45 PM | Coding Session #2 – Hands-on coding lesson
• 2:45 PM - 3:15 PM | Physical Activity – Outdoor games like archery, high ropes and more!
• 3:15 PM - 3:45 PM | Guest Speaker / Mentor Session – Inspirational talks from industry leaders
• 3:45 PM - 4:00 PM | Daily Survey & Wrap-Up – Quick feedback survey, recap of the day, and prep for the next day
