Summer Reading Volunteer Meetings
Chicago Public Library
If you are between the ages of 12 to 17 and looking for service hours or just something to do, then the library is the place for you this summer. Join us for one of our Summer Reading Volunteer Meetings and learn what it takes to volunteer to help us create a wonderful summer program for our patrons. We are looking for friendly and outgoing kids who can explain the program to parents and engage with children. It's pretty simple but you will gain some real workplace experience. Registration is not required to attend this meeting but you will receive a reminder if you do.
How to Attend Register by the start of the event. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian's email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL.
