Computer Basics: Typing

Chicago Public Library

This class will introduce students to the concept of typing using the "home row keys." Becoming faster at typing is all about practice and instructors will not only show you the foundation of this typing method, but also different websites and resources you can use to practice, build speed, and work on accuracy. You won't leave the class with perfect typing ability, but you'll have everything you need to improve and prepare yourself for jobs that utilize computers. We'll be using the computers in the building, so no need to bring anything with you. Accessibility Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event?
