Safe Space in Nature
Lincoln Park Zoo | Education Department
A celebration of LGBTQIA+ identities, passions, and accomplishments within nature spaces and the natural sciences. This is a free program open to LGBTQIA+ and ally teens ages 13–18 that will give learners the opportunity to connect to various scientific disciplines. Experience a BioBlitz at Nature Boardwalk, connect with zoo scientists and educators, learn about ecologies and wildlife, and more! Ask all your questions of community leaders and find out how they connect to nature through their queer identities.
