Graphic Design (Downtown Program)

The Graphic Design Program will give you a glimpse into the professional world of digital and commercial art. In ten weeks you will learn the latest design software used in the field today (PhotoShop and Illustrator), you will test your creative eye and discuss what it means to create art with a message. You will be coached in your ability to talk about and sell your design to clients, and you will be challenged to find and appreciate meaning in placement and color. Upon completion of the program you will have a portfolio of your semester work as well as an understanding of what it means to create with intention.
