Chicago Police Department Crime Victim Services Support Table

Chicago Public Library

The Chicago Police Department's Crime Victim Services Program is partnering to provide individual support services and resources to victims of crime in your community. Victims of crime could be those actually injured in a crime, who witnessed a crime, who are related to a person who was victimized or even people in neighborhoods who have become fearful of crime on their block. We will also have services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include crisis/supportive counseling, referrals to community based agencies for supportive services, tips for parents on how to talk with children on witnessing trauma, applications for crime victim compensation (where appropriate) and more.
