Join us a the King Branch for a Perfume Workshop hosted by renowned Chicago-based olfactory artist agustine zegers! The World of Perfume :The world of smells and perfumery impacts all of us every day: as we cook, smell plants outside, smell manufactured fragrances in our cosmetics and household cleaners, and so much more. Yet, it is quite difficult to learn about this elusive sense. The World of Perfume is a workshop designed for anyone who is interested in smell and fragrance, providing an introduction into how to smell perfumes, what types of materials exist and how we classify and describe smells, and giving participants an opportunity to smell different combinations of materials for themselves. The workshop is designed for entry level smellers, giving us an opportunity to share some educational information about smell as well as engage in some smelling exercises. For teens 13 to 19.AccessibilityNeed sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event?
